1st Annual Back to School Picnic

We decided to go Warriors for a back to school picnic. When we got there the Allens were there and we played with them. The kids had a great time. We had a picnic under the shelter with food from Pal's. Everyone had a great time. We are getting excited about school starting. I actually go to work tomorrow. Parker gets to find out Friday who is teacher is. We can't wait to find out.

When we weren't on vacation
somewhere this summer we were on a ballfield somewhere. Parker moved to the pitching machine baseball league this year. He played at Bernie Webb in Blountville. He was chosen for the All Stars team and we played baseball until the middle of July. We was a great 2nd Baseman. We are very proud of him.

Myrtle Beach

We started out our vacation in Savannah, GA eating at Paula Deen's restaurant Lady and Sons. We then went to Tybee Island to see the light house. We all climbed the 179 steps to the top. The picture with Don and the kids was taken at the top of the lighthouse. We then went to Oceanlakes campground in Myrtle Beach for a week. We really had a great time. Parker loves playing in the ocean and Meredith loves swimming in the pool. Meredith made a new friend while we were there from North Carolina. By the end of the week she was swimming with her face in the water with her snorkle and mask. We were very impressed.

Everyone was very tired at the end of our days at Disney but only a few get the priviledge of being wheeled out asleep each night.

We began this summer vacation with a trip to our favorite place....Disney World. We had a great time. This was Carter's first trip so it was very exciting. We ate at Chef Mickey, O'hana, and the Crystal Palace. Parker and Meredith also had their faces painted. We can't wait to go back.
